Just like Grandma's
Awesome! Just like when I was a young girl and my grandma handmade my pillow cases.

I love, love, love these bowls and the dish set!
I use the dishes everyday, as does my family. They are holding up beautifully and are much lighter weight than my old dishes, making the cupboard weight not as heavy. Also, the mugs do wonderfully in the microwave, though the sides of the cup are hot to the touch, the handles remain cool. Also, the cereal bowls are very deep (seems to be how they are now made across the brands) and they don't fil well on the bottom shelf of my dishwasher and the fit slightly better on the upper shelf. However, they come out sparkling. The Dinner dish is very large (they almost didn't fit in my upper cabinets), but it is the perfect size and match to with my antique set of Liberty Blue dishes and can act as a charger. Needless to say, I'm am trilled. Mikasa is well known for making quality products, and this set is no different. Thank you Mikasa!
