I have tested the ice retention at three days without pre-cooling the inside. The ice was still solid until the fourth day.
The size is great for two or maybe three days keeping items cold. The handles and straps are well constructed. The over-all material is excellent. For longer trips and larger room for groceries I have a Yeti 65, otherwise I would use this for one to two days camping.
