All good so far
The acid test (no pun intended!) with any battery is how long it continues to hold its charge. Having only had this a matter of a couple of weeks I obviously cannot tell how well it will perform in that area but it has otherwise been what I would have expected, accepting a charge and successfully running the device it was purchased for.

Good unit let down by the host navigation system on my smartphone
I find this device both extremely clever and frustrating at the same time.
I love the concept and it works extremely well - to a point. I am using it with Navigon software on my Android phone and it connected very easily and provides pretty good indications of the direction, time remaining, etc.
The frustrations, though, negate these positives. As my phone is paired with the car's systems for phone communication I get no voice commands from it during travel. That means that I am reliant on tiny red icons from the HUD system to warn me of up-coming speed cameras and traffic issues which means I spend my whole time scanning the display which rather negates the point of a HUD system. If anyone can inform me how I can get the phone to talk to me whilst still being connected to the car's Bluetooth I'd love to hear it!
I have also tried it with an iPod touch using the supplied Garmin software but that, of course, has no internet access on the road to get traffic information. I was also less impressed with the software than that from Navigon.
Would I recommend the HUD unit? Well, yes, but with caveats. I'm sure it would be great as a supplement to a smartphone or similar navigation device that doesn't have the limitations imposed by my particular set-up. If only I could get my phone to speak to me...

Fun and easy to use
1 of 1 found this helpful Amazing for the money! It’s really easy to fly, takes great snaps and is fun to use. Video can be a bit bumpy if you take it in anything but no-wind conditions, but technical quality is fine if you stick to still weather.
