Convenient headphone solution
1 of 2 found this helpful The RS 110s, like all cordless headphones, offer a uniquely flexible listening solution. I would not necessarily describe these cans as being the height of Hi-fidelity but as an answer to more than adequate listening on the move, they do a very competant job. The transmission range seems excellent, throughout my house and garden at least, and lying in bed, bath or mowing the lawn are experiences enhanced by the RS 110s. They also have the benefit of acting as ear-defenders against the pervasive frequencies created by newly born infants - whilst still allowing you to get the message.
In summary: If you want Hi-Fi perfection don't buy, in my opinion, any cordless cans. If you are prepared to sacrifice purity for convenience these do the job well and cost bugger-all. I am most happy with my purchase as convenience was my driver.

Gaggia "Classic" Espresso machine
I bought the Gaggia Classic because it epitomised Italian coffee making for me. It requires some getting used to, like anything rewarding but I am now making excellent espresso and silky cappucino. It's a fair size but sturdy - vaguely agricultural - beatifully simple in design and function. If you like good coffee this is a machine I recommend as a serious domestic machine. My tip is that you must also buy a burr-grinder to obtain fresh grounds at the correct consistency - I bought a Krupps for about £35 from john Lewis - excellent. I am also able to make my wife frothy hot-chocolate which keeps me out of trouble. Buy one - you know it makes sense.
