Owner's workshop manual - not
The idea of a Haynes manual for the iconic Merlin I found a very attractive idea, especially for a gift for a friend who is an aircraft engineer. Unfortunately the book is neither a workshop manual nor a detailed history but a good read nevertheless, so enjoy it for the curio it is.

Doesn't work
1 of 1 found this helpful I followed the instructions on the box to the letter and it just didn't work. The brass tarnishing stayed exactly the same. The parts weren't laquered or passivated. I then used a dremel and polishing wheel and the tarnish came off immediately. Very disappointing.

Good Purchase
I was pleased that the oil is not a colourant, just plain good old teak oil. Good coverage and after three or four coats the hardwood really starts to look good.
