Waste of money
I just doesn't work. Poorly designed. What more is there to say?

A cheaper alternative
Solid state 44 pin IDE drives are available, but they are expensive. For some tasks, a compact flash dive is a but slower, but the price is a lot more reasonable. I don't know if a faster CF drive would speed things up a bit, but for the price, I don't care. The only other problem is they don't work with drive partition software that can be used for multiple operating systems, such as partition magic. However, I think both these problems are inherent with all solid state drives and are not the fault of this adapter. A bit tricky to install physically, but no problems installing any operating system just as you would on a conventional hard drive. No noise either!
