Excellent unit. Range is more than adequate for me. Works fine even with the oldies (mine was 198s) that shorten power supply to move the gate. Just had to parallel relay with power supply. Great design for everybody, congratulations manufacturers! And two channels, totally independent. I did not need them, but they do work. Comes preprogrammed with two channels, but I only need one. Checked out that both channels work.
We got a house with a very old garage door opener and no remote. Well, voila! II had tried to get the matching remote from Sears. Sure they said, we'll send you one. Wrong one it was. They refunded that piece of excuse me, but I wasted more on non refundable postage than I paid for this unit. So, it is great and it orks@

Disclaimer: this is by no means against the seller. The seller was one of the best I've ever dealt with. The price was excellent and shipping charges/packing as well.
Now about the book. 99% of the people will buy such a book to identify eatable mushrooms. The book is definitely NOT geared for that. It lists a whole bunch on how to identify the species by Latin name, there are some notes on eatabibity of some, but if you are expecting advices on edible or not, you will be disappointed. The information may be imbedded there somewhere, but it is hard to find. Also, I counted at least 14 kinds of considered to be eatable mushrooms that are not even listed in this book.
The bottom line is you get what you pay for. No wonder that a book by Thomas Lessoe et al, titled The Mushroom Book sells for about $50 by Amazon. This one not only puts emphasis on eatables, but even on their taste after cooking.
Guide to Mushrooms by Simon and Shuster is not too bad either.
See you in the woods!
