At this price, everyone should have one.
1 of 1 found this helpful The product is technologically cool. This particular lower priced "wired" RING only uses the doorbell supplied power (15-20v) to power itself. Providing motion detection and time stamped video of any object that comes within the area or parameter you can set up from the app. So your old doorbell chime is disabled. If you want a chime as well as audio notification from your phone you need to order the wireless one and replace your old wall chime. Installation varies but is basically easy.
