the yarn isn't as good as three years ago.

Difficult to know what to say. This is the second batch of yarn I have had in the last two years, and the quality certainly isn't what it was before the change of label (after the first Covid lockdown). I understand there was a problem for Sirdar with their manufacturer, and the yarn is much less 'cuddly' now, more cotton-like. Having said that, i don't know what else to use.
