Ideal slave flash unit
These units are the answer for providing fill-in flash when your primary (in camera) flash generates a pre-flash in auto mode (to establish exposure settings). That pre-flash is usually enough to trigger any slaves, and so the ability to mask out the initial pre-flash on the slave unit is essential. Good value for money, and the addition of the side arm just makes them so easy to use - highly recommended.

As good as the original
The PURE Evoke radios are heavy power users when playing, and are always 'on' even when in off/sleep mode and draining the battery. Consequently any review of the battery has to take into account the usage conditions.
With the original battery, it ran for 6 years gradually slipping in performance, and the best I ever achieved was about 4-5 days between charging when playing for 1 hour per day.
Right now this battery is giving the same performance, and so I am pleased with it.
No problems with size or fit.

Good, works well - some practical limitations using it due to other considerations
The adapter fits standard M4/3 lenses well, and works as intended. No technical criticism of this adapter.
However, as the standard M4/3 lenses I have are all electronic there is little value in using them. I wanted this device to accommodate the many other manual lens adapters which I already had for the M4/3 system to allow those manual lenses to be used on a Sony E Mount camera without having to buy a whole series of new adapters i.e. to mount the M4/3 adapters with their manual lenses from my Panasonic M4/3 camera kit onto my Sony E-Mount camera.
Some of those other existing adapters proved to be non-standard with some having the mounting flange wider than this E mount adapter would accommodate, and for some the locating pin hole on the E-Mount side of the M4/3 adapter is fractionally too small and the pin does not lock into the M4/3 side flange, which then needs to be gently drilled out to be wider - not deeper. That done, it works well with some specific M4/3 attachments. The problems arise from the liberties taken in the design of the other adapters, not from this device.
Essentially, since the lenses or adapters using this E-Mount adapter must fit into a recess in the E-mount adapter mating face, they must have a diameter less than 58 mm at the mating face. Most of mine do, some don't. If you intend to use it the way I do, measure the diameter of the adapter mating face first. If larger than 58mm you will need a dedicated E-mount adapter for that lens and will not be able to use this adapter.
