I wanted to believe...
It does not work. I had high hopes, and even gave it a few weeks before a review. It is plugged in a foot away from my baby's pack n play (where he sleeps) and 2 feet away from my mattress. They were nesting on the corner of the mattress closest to the device (seen this today, which is a few weeks after installing it). There is little difference in the frequency of bed bugs and bites from them. Vacuuming is more effective. I was going to buy 6 initially, but my girlfriend told me to buy 1, just to see if it worked. I could have received a defective unit. Just because the light and night light turn on, does not mean every component is functioning. If every component is functioning properly, then it just doesn't work. Maybe in different geological areas, bed bugs have evolved to not be affected by this technology(like they have with most pesticides), and maybe in other areas it's super effective. If you want, buy one just to give it a go. It's only around $20, so it's worth a try. But it didn't work for me. I will try the other models. I am not saying other versions don't work, because I haven't tried any other similar products. I will eventually. Good luck on your journey, because bed bugs are no joke. I hope this helps.
