Don’t assume similar fit to other Dr Scholl low boots!
I already had a very similar Dr Scholl low boot, that I really love. With the very similar construction, I thought these would fit the same. But they are considerably narrower in size 8B. Simply couldn’t wear them. So...it’s a great brand, great style, inconsistent fit.

Good for a small room—with one annoying format problem
We bought this to replace a nearly identical item that worked well for 7 years in our very small living room. The pedestal stand works far better for us than the pair of v-shaped feet on all the newer (usually 30”) models. One really irritating feature of both the old one and this replacement—there is no setting that captures all the text across the bottom of certain broadcasts. If you set it on “custom,” it does adjust to capture the full width of some shows and movies, but we still can’t read the full names of guests on (for example) some interview shows on PBS. Oh well... it’s still the best option for our situation.
