Hewlett Packard Agilent HP 3478A Digital Multimeter TESTED

Meter arrived early and in condition that matched the picture.

Bought this meter for our makerspace to be used in our electronics area. I checked it against my personal one (same model) and they were the same up to 4 digits. Well within our requirements. This is a workhorse benchtop multimeter that does very accurate volts, current, and ohms. If you need extreme accuracy you can get this calibrated at a shop but for hobbyist usage it is probably fine. It is helpful to double check it against some other meter to verify that it is not extremely out though.
