8 of 8 found this helpful I read previous reviews and they were mixed however I thought I would try this item as I just wanted to install eyelets into polythene sheet for my garden. You have to use these in the correct way to get the results you want. Once the eyelet is placed on the pliers correctly (Photo attached) they are easily installed. This is not intuitive as I initially wanted to place the eyelet the other way round on them. I suspect many of the reviewers that found this difficult to do were placing the eyelet on the pliers the wrong way round which is difficult to get them to flatten if you do
