Works, but doesn't fit snugly

The assembly is ever so slightly too small, which means that unlike the original it has a tendency to fall out. The filter is also slightly smaller than the original, so the seal does not fit snugly around it. If I use the original filter it stretches the seal slightly, and then the assembly does not fall out. It's not obvious to me why anyone would need to replace the filter.

This does indeed appear to be a genuine ...

This does indeed appear to be a genuine new part, and is currently fitted and working. Fitting is very fiddly, but only because of the original design of the mower. The spade connectors are locked in with a tongue (examine the new part carefully), and you have to find a way to push that tongue in to remove the old spade connectors. Hint: the tongue locks in just behind the small indents in the plastic housing.
