Cheap ‘n’ Cheerful
I bought this switch to act as a means of using one keyboard to control multiple computers. To this end, it works well. Do not misunderstand my meaning, though- I mean to operate one computer at a time.

Simply the best.
I bought this product to replace a recently fallen Compaq OEM fan in a 2004 Evo D510. Needless to say, it fit perfectly in the vintage full size case. I also bought one of these fans to replace a rather noisy JMC/Datech fan in an older Dell Dimension of mine. In both cases, the fans perform admirably.

For cheap FM synthesis, look no further.
I was researching FM synthesizers that connect via PCI and came across a recommendation for the Avance Logic SC-4000. As the pickings are slim in this rather niche area of the sound card market, I was expecting this budget-stature card to be less than stellar. I somewhat reluctantly ordered the card, and received an item that really surpassed my expectations. When your ears are used to standard wavetable synthesis, something different really is refreshing to the ears. Let it be known, though, that there is practically no hardware support after Windows XP. I got the drivers to install on Windows 8.1, but the sound was very quiet and hissy. There also was no action from the on-board synth. To the best of my knowledge, the drivers go back all the way to Windows 3.1!
