Works perfectly
This is a great device and has worked pretty much perfectly. In the week of using it the controller appeared to freeze once on the first night, removed and reconnected the adaptor and has been fine ever since. I use it with a Switch and PS3 with a Dualshock 4 controller.
A plus point over the 8bitdo is that you can connect the controller to the adaptor to charge it while playing and it takes care of the initial pairing process too.
I think my only gripe is that it's quite an ugly adaptor, the colour plastic doesn't help but it's a minor thing and ultimately functionality is the main thing and that's perfect.
