Great portable system!
I opted for this over the new single unit array systems like the Bose. It is more versatile as it can be used as a monitor system if I choose to use my big PA for larger venues. I've mounted the small amp on my piano stand for close up control. Yamaha makes the clamps, BAS10. Get them from Dale Pro Audio for the best price.
The sound is better than you would think for 8" woofers. It will cover any average lounge. For a little more power, I have a 10" KB2 Peavey piano amp that can cover the bottom and let these speakers handle the rest. I got the carry bag with wheels to go with it as well. Happy Camper. Hey... it's Yamaha!!
