I have one just like this PV-GS12
What I love about it: It has a firewire connection, so you can connect it right to your computer if your PC has firewire (1394IEEE)It has a card slot and i bought the Lexar media 256mb card, was able to hold around 700 digital pictures on it! Its palm-size and lightweight. Videos are great, and you can play them back WITH SOUND immediately. I also like being able to immediately review the pictures. Its a great little video camera but not so great for stills. I like being able to switch from taking a video to taking a photo with one switch of the button. really easy features. easy to learn. What I dislike: While the video features are great, the still photos come out blurry sometimes. I dont know if it is because your hand naturally moves a bit when you press the picture button, located on top right next to the zoom button or if it is just a low megapixel camera. Most people have a good digital camera anyway, so if you are getting this for still pictures, i can honestly say it takes better pics than a cell phone, but not as great pics in low light. It doesnt have a flash, it has a light that stays on and is not so great for photos in low light. birthday candles ligting great, campfire lighting not great. It also has a USB port for directly uploading pictures to the computer. NOTE: THE OTHER REVIEW POSTED HERE IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT, RATHER SHOULD BE ON FEEDBACK TO THE SELLER. THE REVIEW SHOULD BE ABOUT THE PRODUCT ONLY... JUST BECAUSE THE SELLER DIDNT SEND YOU A BATTERY CHARGER, DOES NOT WARRANT THE "POOR" REVIEW YOU GAVE. YOU SHOULD REMOVE THAT REVIEW AND LEAVE THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR THE SELLER...THANKS.
