For collectors only, but what an unique system!
Wonder why I give this system a 5 star with everything else a one, said value? Well can solve that it a few words: rare(ish), can't be emulated properly, unique and such an awesome set piece (however I would recommend displaying without the stand pretty flimsy!)
Background: I started collecting this console in 2006, have 4 units(3 thru ebay and one at a thrift store with pinball for a buck which has the eye issue), 2 complete and 2 with disconnect eye issue (which can be fixed check you tube, glue issue). I also own most of the NA games minus Jack Bros.
Ease of use: I have one power adapter to ac (system uses batteries to controller as default) so tis console is not friendly to power unless you use alot of batteries, without said adapter. Also, the console itself is a nightmare to use, youe need to look in "binoculors" to see the game screen. Still for 1996 it is amazing and fun Nintendo gave us this!
Game's: Only 14 were realeased in America. I own between 10-12 (not sure my vertical is) then left another. I do own waterworld and it is as bad as advertised! Most games are bad on the system but some are amazing considering the tech at the time! I recommend red alarm (cheap) for the best 3d effect (wireframe does that) Also, galactix pinball, wario, and teleboxer are games to play .
Value: Well, I think the value of this console will just go up It like my reasons why its great is this system is never getting made again then its game cant play on other system's even pc. Like the sega saturn (which might get cracked for an emulator) This system never will!
Overall: I love this system for all it represent! Great mantle piece, collectible, rare, and the most unique system Nintendo has ever come out with.

Not the version I wanted or thought I was getting
Game shown was black label. Game develered was greatest hits. Still games came in grate contdition. Great game, to bad its so rare!
2 of 4 found this helpful Best RPG for the Saturn, hands down! Now that is not saying much, however, I have been playing rpg's since the nes/sms. I love this game, got it 2 yrs ago for 200$, and it is a unique and great rpg! It is short for a rpg, I took my time and still beat it in under 30 hrs. However, the story and gameplay are top notch! Only rpg I prefer in story is Final Fantasy 6, love me Kefka! Anywho, I only got this cause I was able to get it half off, 400 bills is hard to swallow(200 was hard enough). Yet, this game is great, combat is the highlight! Duration is the weakness, you just want more! Great game, still hard to recommend for the price.
