An excellent manual for saxophonists
I repair and restore musical instruments as a hobby. This manual is the newest and best in my sizable library. Stephen Howard's approach is spot-on. The saxophone was a far more complicated and confusing instrument before he explained it. The photography is excellent. I recommend this book to anyone who buys, owns, plays, repairs, or is otherwise interested in saxophones. It would be a terrific gift for any sax player, from student to professional.
