Samsung 404S series toners ok but expensive
Pro: Easy to change out "ok": cartridge seems like it could last a little longer. Required replacement a little sooner than expected con: list price $60, way too much. Lot of margin there for manufacturer

Use OE Moen 1423 Balancing Spool
This a proprietary product so we're kind of stuck with it. This OE part is made of stainless steel. There are cheaper non-OE parts available, however they are made of aluminum. This main isssue of the need for this part is when it needs to be replaced due to hard water deposits, sometimes this spool comes apart and is difficult to remove. If you have an non-OE aluminum version of this spool stuck on your valve body, once the hard water minerals cause it to deteriorate, you may never get it out.
