Terrific and well acted, Keitel is brilliant as Lansky.

The story of Maier Lansky one of the top gangsters of the period. Lansky charges a young reporter to write his life story warts and all. The story is told in flash backs and features Lucky Luciano, Bugsy Siegel and many others and all play their part in a true story. If you like "gangster films" this is definitely one for you.

No one bit boring, action all the way.

I found it to be up there with the Godfather. Well acted and the scenes are very authentic. I also found it rivetting and easy to follow. I'd recommend it for a good night's entertainment.

Does what it says on the cover and once Scorese is involved that marks it as top notch entertainment.

I have watched and enjoyed the other four seasons and this one has gotten off to a cracking start. The characters are still true to life and gritty and we have lost some of them along the way. I would highly recommend the entire season. It is heading towards a great climax.
