Love Village Candles but this scent isn't pleasant
I'm a big fan of Village Candles, they burn well, no 'tunnelling', last a long time and you can burn them for just a few minutes if you wish.
Some of the scents have been great and are some of my all time my favourites, but this Vanilla isn't pleasant. I was hoping for a rich, creamy, warming scent, but I find this rather synthetic and artificial, a little bit acrid. It really isn't the best vanilla scent I've experienced.
But it does have a good throw, noticeable but not overpowering, just a disappointing smell, which is a real shame because vanilla is usually one of those smells you can bank on.
Never mind, it'll be relegated to the kitchen to cover cooking smells and I won't be buying this scent again.

Lovely bag, small but beautiful quality
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a small handbag, big enough for my small wallet, keys and phone, one without zips which seem to constantly snag on my clothes. I also wanted something in a neutral colour that would go with everything and I could wear as a cross body bag (I hate carrying handbags).
This fits the bill perfectly, it looks good (even the other half commented on it), it's made of good quality materials, enough compartments to organise your bits and bobs. I use it all the time and it does look exactly the same as the picture.
I would never though this was a second, or certainly the one I got I was hard pushed to find anything on it that looked like an imperfection, but they are advertised as such and owing to material (natural leather) there are bound to be differences
It is a little small so bear that in mind and check the dimensions carefully that it is suitable for you.

Worth the money and more 'lifesized'
These are great and really look the business., the detail is pretty good. I like that you've got a couple of different coloured and different shaped gravestones. I used some 'u' shaped garden pegs for extra security.
They are flimsy (polystyrene) and act a bit like a sail in the wind, so the cross has unfortunately snapped after a couple of weeks of being battered by the weather (I live in Northern Ireland, so it's always wet and windy).
But I'm glad I bought them, they looked fantastic in the garden day and night (I had them lit with some green spotlights, so they cast eerie shadows). It's surprising I've only had the one casualty, which I'm going to see if I can glue back together and then make a graveyard in the hallway instead.
I would recommend them, they're pretty thick and will withstand rain and some wind, but I do think you need something extra to secure them.
