Good Quality!
I have a record and cassette version of this product. I can honestly say that the quality of the cassette is approaching the quality of the vinyl!

A masterful product reconditioned and refurbished to a brand new status. 5 stars!
I have been testing this product of over a week now.
The item came shipped in the original packaging with extra protection packaging. At first glance, the product looked as if it had just came off the shelf from 1991! Any cosmetic imperfections were removed, and the outside of the cassette deck was in fabulous condition.
This deck is auto-reverse and plays type 1, 2, 4, and chrome tapes. The product featured the original remote, including batteries (shoutout to the seller for providing them!). The remote even has a track search feature that allows users to skip songs without trying to guess where the next one starts. I have found this feature to be very impressive, as it even was able to accurately find songs on my pre-recorded cassettes! The remote also includes all the expected controls you would wish to have when your out of reach from your cassette player.
The sound quality is amazing. My type one taped with Dolby sound almost as good as my chrome tapes, and the newer the cassette is, the better it sounds. For example, I have a 1999 cassette that was sealed and recently open (type 1 w/ Dolby), and I have to tell you; it sounded as good as a CD. The sound quality of the tape player is undoubtably thanks to the new belts and lubricated parts, which was actually pitched by the seller. I have had no issues with the belt so far (and I am a HEAVY cassette user!), and hopefully it will last a big long while.
To be honest, one of the main reasons I got this deck was because of the horizontal loading system. It looked cool to me! But I’ve truly been enjoying my cassette collection using this! Thank you for this amazing product! 5 stars!
