It's a Mains Adaptor
What is there to say!? It's fit for purpose. Cloverleaf leads are not as plentiful as IEC "kettle" leads but a lot of laptops etc take clover leaf, so it's hand to have these adaptors around. It works and it's fit for purpose.

Not the right shape
While these toothpicks do the job and are cheap, they're not the right shape at the head to get out easily from the slot in the knife scale (the red bit) and the quality is not the same as the genuine article either. My recommendation is to spend a little more and get the right one for your model of knife. I don't think these are actually Victorinox.

One of those occasional tools that has no alternative
So occasional that I haven't used it yet. Seems fine though.
