Flimsy and inadequate
Quite simply I bought this item as a replacement for one where the wooden hanger bar collapsed due, no doubt to the bar carrying an excessive number of shirts etc. However, in confined spaces and a small Flat -there isn't much choice. At least it took the strain for several months. My replacement fabric wardrobe, carrying a similar load collapsed breaking the plastic bar hook after only three days. The framework was almost all metal and suggested that it could support any amount of weight. Fatal assumption. If you only want to hang up a couple of pairs of underpants and your favourite tie then there shouldn't be a problem. There are so many badly designed things these days the functions of which are not adequately thought through. This item is a good example. I will patch it up so that the bar can take a heavy load which is something that should just not occur in such a tight space of time.

a setting and separate attachment for another fabric type would be very helpful as an all in one product.
I now assume that the 'silk' descriptor part of the title implies silk only. I have 110 gents non silk shirts to iron but gave up after 20mins trying to iron on of them as I couldn't get the wrinkles out and then successfully reverted back to my traditional steam iron.
Moral of the story-make sure you read the description of the item properly.

.....good value
Sometimes good quality isn't important. This large batch was very useful as I had a lot of clothes to sort out. They look a little flimsy but so far are doing a great job at a very good price.
