  I contacted the seller asking if I could collect, she promptly responded that she was happy this this, I won the bid (I was the only bidder) and then I proceeded to not hear for days from the seller despite my messages requesting collection time of her choosing. Once I opened a complaint she responded that she was too overwhelmed/busy to deal with the process and then said she’d have to refund me. I had to chase this as well with multiple messages before I finally received my money back.

  I'm really sorry this happened. As you will see this is my only negative feedback in years of ebaying. My communications on ebay have always been good and it was unfortunate that this sale coincided with a very difficult week for my family, the details of which I didn't feel obliged to share with the buyer, but which meant it was not possible to regularly check my emails. The timescale over which this happened was not as long as implied here and as stated the payment was fully reimbursed.
