Terrific Little Gizmo
Bought this item as seemed to be a keen price for a high output charger. You need an output of 2.0A these days for modern tablets & smartphones to charge in a reasonable time. This charger will charge up my HTC smartphone just as quickly as a mains charger if using the higher output 2.4A outlet. There's a second port rated at 1.0A for a second device & the 2 ports will charge simultaneously, so you've a combined output of 3.4A, which is terrific for a car charger. I found that you need to use a decent quality lead or the original charging lead that came with your device, if you want to avail of the 2.4A. I used what I found to be a spurious lead & the device recognised that this lead couldn't carry the current & automatically reverted to 1.0A on the high output port. The digital display is very handy as it tells you what current is being fed into your device, ie 1.0A or 2.4A. Another great feature is it tells you what voltage is being generated by your vehicle, both when switched off and running. So you can also keep a check on the condition of your car battery & a modern car when running should be generating 14V or so. You'll get a warning beep from the device if your voltage drops off below 12V, which might be the first you know of an electrical fault. So all in all a great little device for the price, which also doubles up as a voltmeter......just use a decent lead & you'll be sorted.

Excellent results if you follow the directions
This product was used on a 2004 Ford Cmax, which had quite bad oxidisation on the headlamp lenses & they'd become quite cloudy & headlight performance was definitely impaired. The product comes with easy to follow instructions & includes everything you need to get the job done, including the attachment for your power drill. It's important you follow the instructions closely, working up through the increasing grades of sandpaper & wetting the lens & pad frequently on the higher grades as directed. Don't be afraid to sand away plenty with the initial 800 grade, as its this first and coarsest grade that removes the majority of the oxidisation. As you work up through the grades then, you'll see the lens becoming increasingly clearer. Be persistent & be systematic & by the time you're at the final stage, which is polishing the lens with the white compound & using the polishing disc, your lenses will literally look like new. I saved a fortune against the cost of having to buy replacement headlights, & the process took me about half an hr for each headlight. Some cars are more prone to this oxidisation than others, the early Cmax is particularly bad, so i treated each lens with a Meguiars headlight protection treatment, which you just rub on after polishing with a clean cloth. This will protect the finish & reduce the rate at which re-oxidisation occurs. I'm told UV light is the major culprit for this. If your headlights are cloudy you'll notice a big difference the first time you drive your car at night, especially on country lanes etc. Couldn't recommend this product highly enough & a bargain vs the cost of having to replace your lights.

Instant Bright Light
Great quality of light and brightness for the power consumption. Got them for outdoor bulkhead lights for under soffits, and they're way brighter than the usual incandescent bulbs they're replacing, but use a 7th of the power. Plus the brightness is instant
