An excellent little camera with a good zoom
Camera has a long zoom & lots of options for shooting including EXR but will operate very well as a point and shoot camera. As well as a long zoom it is also good for close up (macro) photography.

A good pocket zoom camera
It is becoming harder to find reasonably priced pocket cameras. My need was for a long zoom to complement my other cameras. I had looked long and hard at the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX350 but it is £40 more than this camera. The Olympus is a plastic bodied camera with a metal front. Controls are minimal but adequate. Colour rendition and exposure are such that many photos need additional processing with software such as Snapseed or Elements. The long zoom does not always produce sharp results if the camera is unsupported. I attach two examples - the bell tower photo was unsuported (hand held) and for the other the camera was supported on a wall, Overall I think the camera is good and value for money. It shows it's age in having no wifi or bluetooth conectivity.
