A must listen to - for classical influenced rock & Pink Floyd fans !!!!!!!!
1 of 3 found this helpful Had to give it only a 4 of 5 rating - ONLY because Pink Floyd was in a transition stage in my opinion. The orchestrative work on the album is really really good - unique. David Gilmour's steel guitar ads a nice touch. The song " If " , gives you a clue to the future greatness of Pink Floyds albums like Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall. This Album is a must for those who like Pink Floyd and classsical type rock melody music! Many melodic sounds...& sound effects also...

A Great Video to watch
This is a very good footage of a Roger Waters concert. The musicians are great. It is a must have for Roger Waters/Pink Floyd fans

A must hear for Pink Floyd/ Roger Waters & Eric Clapton followers....
This Album follows The Wall & The Final Cut... You will hear many similar melodies from Waters. This Album has material that was probably developing while still in Pink Floyd. There are great concepts with the percussives(rim shots, etc..) and sound effects, that Floyd fans would appreciate. Waters vocal inflections are unique. Eric Clapton's guitar style is icing on the cake! His guitar leads are uniquely played to the style needed to set the mood of the concept Album. I saw the show live 2x when it origionally toured. I wish they had video taped it. It was as good as any other Floyd production. My only gripe was that the record was too short. Now days Cd'd are longer playing.
