Pink Floyd Momentary Lapse Review
1 of 1 found this helpful I love Roger Waters. I also love David Gilmore. This album is very much David Gilmore's baby and is very reminiscient of some of his solo work. There is a gentler, less angst-ridden vibe to the songs; not that they are lacking in passion or even anger, on occasion. That Waters on-the-edge feeling is absent.
This is a beautiful album, which I would recommend to anyone. It is still very much Pink Floyd but it is a long way removed from works such as The Dark Side and The Wall. Depending on your taste, this may be a pro or a con!

Pink Floyd Animals Review
1 of 1 found this helpful There's a slightly more raw feel about this album compared with some of the other Floyd albums which makes it stand out. It is a clever concept album full of vivid imagery and a few hints of humour. The lyrics are supported by trademark Pink Floyd synthesizer arrangements and strong, memorable melodies.
A real classic album which has stood the test of time and changing fashions.
I bought the Cd because my original is on vinyl and I don't get the turntable spinning so often these days!

Good value for the money.
Good value for the money; neat, attractive and amusing to my kittens, in a passing sort of way.
Don't expect it to last long under fire; one of the struts has escaped from its sleeve covering after 2 weeks of very light attention from my small kittens but they still attack the dangly things now and again.
