good unit for the price

For the price it`s a good unit only problem I have with it you cant turn it on and walk away you have to stay until it warms up because the sound is mute on start up.

It's good for light work.

It's good for cutting logs a bit flexible, but it do go through them quite easily. Can't comment on anything else I've only cut logs.

It`s a good bit of kit

Yes I like this belt sander, I can turn it upside down on my work mate and use it as a table sander which makes it more versatile. didn't realise I bought the fix speed one, only hiccup I found is the filter box keeps falling off which is a bloody nuisance.
