Does everything you would expect from a drive belt!

Engine is back up to temperature
The thermostat went on with few problems, and works well. Two of the holes that should accept bolts are unthreaded so needed to be tapped out. Fortunately I had a suitable tap. The position of the hole that receives one of the bolts holding the front bracket was very slightly different from my original, so I had to slightly enlarge the holes in the bracket to allow it to be fitted.
Only time will tell how long the thermostat lasts, but it appears to be of good quality so perhaps it will last as long as the original, which managed 250,000 miles.

Excellent, and like new
As a refurbished product I had some concerns about the condition, but it turned out to be indistinguishable from new apart from a rather battered box.
