  I was quite shocked at how much thermal paste was around the cpu, and the amount that was actually on the pins that I had to clean up. It was quite stressful having to clean it off, and I had to bend some pins back that I had bent out of place trying to clean it up. Luckily everything worked out in the end, and it got in the motherboard safely. I just wish they would have cleaned it better before shipping. Everything else was great, packaged awesome, cheap shipping too.

  We discussed this comment about thermal paste - poster agreed that the pictures showed it was very minimal and an overreaction since the non conductive nature of paste was not understood. Importantly the CPU is working well.

  As britgeezer commented we discussed about the cpu. The computer works perfectly, and my spouse is super happy with his new computer. I was just not sure about the thermal paste since I'm not super knowledgeable about it, but it was all fine :3
