Poorly designed press on/off switch - easy to accidentally turn them on when stored/transported.

Haven't tried the tester and wire tracker yet but they both suffer from the same problem. Their on/off buttons are push buttons. When storing the devices in the pouch, you can easily accidentally turn them on when holding or zipping up the pouch. The batteries will just get drained and other than using a screw driver to remove the battery each time, you will be wasting batteries.
