Excellent so far

As stated at 12l/m a very quiet pump and fits easily into 20L plastic drums for refuelling. A 16mm id (required) hose fits snug on the outlet from the pump. The provided clips are zinc plated so not ideal for marine use.

Quality item worth the extra cost.

I’ve had the cheaper alternatives, this is much better quality. You get what you pay for in this instance. The cheaper ones work but won’t last as long.

much improved kit

This is a new moulding and the quality and detail are much better. The material used us stiffer for the same thickness. All the previous Airfix kits have come from the same old moulding, and was used by Italeri for their kits. This one is miles better, even the interior now shows the ribbing details. New style instructions, simple to follow. In the photo the new kit has internal detail, separate tail fin and cut out forward door. The one next to it us the old type Airfix and the next is the Italeri. Ignore the colouring, all are in the process of building.
