Very effective solution for squirrels!
2 of 3 found this helpful I bought this product hoping to find a solution for a serious squirrel problem. I tried everything else but nothing was working.
After first setting it up, it seemed to have an effect within a day but still noticed some squirrel activity. My original setup was using the motion detector setting but I changed it to a "constant on" with a noticeable improvement. Not as many squirrels would appear as before and for shorter periods of time. After a few days, I tweaked the setting to modify the frequency a bit and lo and behold....bingo!! They've disappeared completely. Not a single squirrel.
In conclusion, I went from noticing squirrels off and on throughout the entire day (as many as 10 at a time) to zero in a matter of days. So for anyone who has a squirrel problem, I can confirm that if the unit is set to the proper frequency setting.....it should work as it has for me. I'm sure it can be just as effective for other critters but I can't confirm that. Bottom line is it sure works for squirrels at the proper setting! Problem solved!
