Next Best Thing
To anyone wanting to put as much distance between themselves and pervasive, formulaic, chewing-gum-for-the-ears pop-can-crud; I guarantee your total satisfaction will be found in this jewel case.
I saw Jeff at the Sunrise theater with the "There & Back" lineup in 1980. I recall that concert as the pinnacle of all the live performances I've attended, before or since. On the basis of originality, taste and virtuosity of musicianship, I'd given up on ever hearing anything equal that level of excellence again. I certainly never thought that 36 years later, Jeff would still be capable of delivering a performance with the same energy.
This recording proves the decades haven't fogged my memory.
If it were possible for the DVD's laser to burn through plastic, one track would have been obliterated from sear of repeated exposure. The awe inspiring performance of "My Blanket" with Imogene Heap stands so far above the mind numbingly predictable standard we are usually subjected to, that it alone is worth the price of admission. Fortunately, the other musicians wrapped up this present to posterity in a beautiful package.
Peel this open. Pop it in the BluRay. Never remove it from the tray. My copy has resided there since I took it out of the mail box. I never know when I might next need to sooth my ears and a dose of this performance does the trick...every time.

more fantastic than plastic
Whatever covers the data on my device, I will scratch it. I hate scratches.
I Hate the non tactility-ness of plastic. Plastic is okay for pocket protectors, but yucky to the touch.
Glass feels exactly like the naked screen and it's easier to clean. Whats not to like?
Good price, great idea. Get ya some...soon!

Good Gear!
I bought my first heated gear in the mid 1980's. It still works. It's Gerbing's.
Micro wire glove liners are huge improvement over those bulky tactility impeders. Motorcycle gloves ought to be more supple. I'm using these beneath over-sized road race gloves. Better for safety and at least as warm.
Comfort? For my hand (normally purchase a large) they are larger than other brands. I bought a second smaller and better fitting pair. I gave the too large pair to my son for Christmas. He was happy.
