Smooth and reliable shifting
I love twist shifters. I've been riding the same set of Sachs 8-speed twist shifters for 25 years on 4 different bikes and never had a problem.
When I wanted to upgrade my Yeti 575 26-er to a 9-speed 1x50 drive train, I needed new shifters. I picked this shifter because my son has had them (3x9) on his bike for 4-5 years. I've taken it out a few times and been impressed with how smoothly it shifts.
The new XO 9-speed shifter works great on my bike. I'd recommend it to anyone who is happy with a 9-speed drive train on their bike.
Live long and keep pedalling

Sodastream saver
When my wife brought home a Sodastream, the kids and I were chuffed! But when the co2 cylinder ran out, we were super bummed. You cant get refills in Hong Kong where we live.
Then I found the external tank adaptor hose!
It is easy to install, and the 20 pound tank I got from a pub supply place will probably last us a year and cost about US$10 to fill.
Note: make sure you get the right size female cylinder fitting for where you live. a few 22mm difference and it won't fit!
I measured using a micrometer and got the right one. We are happy bunnies.
Great product!

BCB Crusader Cooker MK.II cooker - a worthwhile upgrade
1 of 1 found this helpful I love the original BCB Crusader Cooker MK.I cookset. The only minor downside is the cooker unit, which isn't big enough to fit a pocket alcohol stove.
The new BCB Crusader Cooker MK.II cooker unit is bigger, accomodates any fuel you like (including a Trangia alcohol stove), provides good wind resistance, and is a great fit with the rest of my MK.I kit.
Aluminium construction also makes it light.
I prefer steel for a mug, but alloy is fine for cookers.
All in all, I say it's a worthwhile upgrade
