A good one to complete the set

Coach looked and is great. All moving parts worked. Box included some, but not all, the small parts. Fortunately, I have the missing parts with other models. Bought this to complete the set of operating mail coaches.

Quality [appearance] was better than exp...

Quality [appearance] was better than expected. Some gentle tlc had her running well. A 'clunk' hear indicated worm/gear wheel slip will need further investigation. Swapped pony trucks from another engine which had couplings. Need to find traction tyre for this engine

The coach to complete the collection

The red of the Hornby coach is a little garish and differs considerably from that of the 2 Lima coaches. The set was missing the little bit that normally come with the operating mail carriage but as I already had them from another set it's not a problem. All items were in mint condition.
