GZ552 GZ-552 Fireplace Replacement Blower Fan

    Super quiet blower
Before purchasing this I looked at other seller's blowers: prices and buyers comments. I wanted a blower with "ball bearings", not "cylinder bearings" that don't last as long. I had removed the old blower before ordering to check the dimensions of the new one. My blower was mounted on a L shaped plate that was easily detached (2 wing nuts bolted the L plate to the base of the fireplace) so the new blower could be installed. l had to drill a couple of holes in the L plate to line up with the pre-drilled holes in the new blower so the blower would rest on the bottom of the L plate (otherwise it would have been about 1/2 inch above the L plate). I only did this since the old blower touched the bottom of the L plate, may have worked fine with the 1/2 inch gap. The new blower ran so quietly I couldn't hear it running unless I stood very close to the heat vent at the top of the fireplace that discharges the warm air into my family room.
