I have installed a few of these mounting...
I have installed a few of these mounting brackets during my time as a marine mechanic and this is as good as it gets when Purchasing a quick release bracket. They are not cheap and it is a pain trying to get it lined up. But once its installed your done. The directions don't tell installer about keeping the head inside of rubrail when stowed. I always make sure that my install doesn't stick out past rub rail or you know if customer hits dock with boat its going to damage trolling motor. Just keep it just inside and u r safe. The customer thought this price was too much but its a lifetime quick release and its not a cheap one great seller very satisfied thanks bruce

Cheaper than OEM not the same material but it works and when on a budget it seems to work ok
