A good, advanced model kit.
1 of 1 found this helpful A good model, very fun to build. It is not for the beginner, though - the landing legs in particular were very difficult.
Curiously the model contains parts to make a different version instead - with the landing legs folded away as they were while packed in the Saturn V for launch - there is no mention of this in the instructions.
Revell produced another 1/48 scale LM - totally different tooling, comes with a diorama. This model contains self adhesive gold foil while the one I bought has the foil texture moulded in. I was lucky enough to find a sheet of this gold foil, it enabled me to add many extra details to the model.

Great and challenging little kit.
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent high quality kit. It is beautifully designed and made, though at times somewhat fiddly. A pair of fine round nosed pliers are essential, as are some magnifying glasses.
