Band of Brothers
1 of 1 found this helpful This joint Hanks and Speilburg production is probably the best thing I have ever seen on screen. The acting is superb and the battle scenes realistic. Band of Brothers is based on the true story of Easy Company 101st Airbourne Division during WW2. It is hard to find any fault in this fantastic story of the brave soldiers of Easy Company. The recollections from some of the real survivors which kick each episode off were excellent and brought tears to the eyes. This is a must for anyone into war drama or historic drama or any drama come to that. Everyone should own a copy of this set.

This is a true story of an injured Vietnam veteran who upon return to the US is ignored, hated and neglected, until he finds his purpose in life to stand up to the authorities and fight for the rights of war veterans. Emotional and sprited performances throughout.
