Still best for just playing music
1 of 1 found this helpful Replaced the same model after it broke, only this one has an SSD, which makes it faster and a touch more lightweight. And a few more GB too. And refreshed battery life. Solid machine, and the new clickwheel works just fine. Happy to have a Classic iPod back again! I need those physical buttons for playing, which an iPhone just doesn't have.

classic basic model
Still a great turntable choice for a basic sound system with bookshelf speakers. Super-easy to use.

Sound upgrade, more stable
Noticeably better sound on computer speakers, and mostly no more crackles compared to the stock cable that came with the speakers (the crackles could be the fault of other wires around the desk). 1 meter is good if the speakers are close to the monitor, but you'll need it longer if you have a big desk.
