My preferred choice in robotic microcomputers.
The Raspberry Pi 3A+ is a good choice for robotics because its power requirements are far less than a 4B. It is faster than a Zero 2W but does use more power. It also runs analysis on photos using Intel's OpenVINO pre-trained models (the Zero also runs OpenVINO).

Slightly better than a Zero 2W - and a much better price
Runs OpenVINO AI object detection code. Fairly low 300 ma draw when idle (small GPIO load).
