Excellent
2 of 2 found this helpful Two years ago I bought one pair (at double the price). Used to communicate around the farm.
Visiting friends at Christmas they told me a story of the husband (who is over 80) taking the dogs for a walk, had slipped over and couldn't get up. The dogs returned home without him and it was an hour before his wife went looking for him.
I bought them a pair of these PMRs on Ebay this time, as a post-Christmas present. The wife told me he took great delight in setting them up. He said the instructions were 'very clear', and he went for a walk and when furthest from home, called his wife - 'loud and clear'.
I am certainly in their good books now!
Then I bought another pair for my workshop.
We keep them all plugged into the chargers switched on 24/7.
I did check with the supplier that they came with the dual charger as it did not specifically state this in the advert and I could not believe the good price (as they were identical to the first ones). They say they are refurbished but they looked new to me and work perfectly, So I then bought another pair for my own use. Excellent purchase.

Long enough even for me
This is the second one I have bought - one for each bathroom. I am tall but it is long enough for me. I saw a criticism from a user that mould appeared. All you need to do is use antibacterial soap. I have never had a problem.

Fun
Good fun but too expensive. If it had been 20% of the price I would have bought at least 10 to give away to kids. As it is I bought one and am holding on to it. It must have cost all of 2 pence to produce.
