Great camera at a reasonable price
3 of 3 found this helpful I upgraded from a Nikon d70 from 2004. So, probably any upgrade is better than what I have. I bought the d600 and am not looking back. Shooting sports like basketball in poor gym lighting is a breeze! The high ISO capability of this camera is great. My D70 would produce dark/grainy pictures if I push ISO into a few hundred. Pushing ISO into the 6,400 range produces great pictures with proper exposure. This camera + the 70-200 VRII is an unbeatable combination for shooting sports. Another great feature is the U1 and U2 where you can preset what you want and your settings are there. I have only played with it for about a month and so much to learn. Maybe the only negative thing would be the video. Doesn't seem to me as usable as a video camera, but it could be because of my newbie skills.

Great product to wirelessly connect to usb computer, or bluetooth cell phone, or home phone.
