Review on the Nikon D7200
9 of 11 found this helpful I have taken a few photos now and found the image quality was really good. I am still getting used to the controls.
The camera is much heavier than my D5300, almost twice the weight, but it feels much more solid.
It works well with the lenses I already have for the D5300.
As a camera for the amateur, I would place it at the top end of the range for its price. the auto-focus system is quick and with 51 focus points, is adaptable for any type of picture you may want to take.
There was only one point that I found about the kit box. The instruction manual has quite small typeface, but the manual is available on the web as a pdf.
If you are a serious amateur, or even a professional in need of a second camera, this is a good camera to consider.

Cheap and nasty
3 of 3 found this helpful Difficult to set up. Took me over 6 hours. TV remote interferes with this unit, tried on two TVs, a Sharp and a Panasonic. Gets very hot when on, still gets very warm in standby. Instruction manual is in black and white and it is difficult to read what is on the screenshot. The instructions are vague and the software does not match the instructions. There is no indication as to where the device was made. Suspect it to be a Chinese import and possibly a fake. Although it has the CE markings, I suspect this to be a fake.
